THE PICS hit the road on Saturday as we head to Needham Market (kick-off 3.00pm).
Having bowed out of the Emirates FA Cup at the hands of Sutton Coldfield Town on Monday evening, we will be looking to return to winning ways and move up the League table.
We face a Needham Market side who have won two, drawn two and lose two of their six Leageu games so far, including an emphatic 8-1 victory over Hitchin Town last month.
They won 4-0 at Barton Rovers in the Emirates FA Cup last weekend, whilst their last League encounter saw them go down by three goals to nil at Alvechurch.
“The confidence is not with us at the moment but that can quickly change with some positive results,” admitted manager, Liam McDonald. “We certainly have the quality here and I have every faith in the players to turn things around and start picking up points.
“We have to be better in both boxes and having key players missing has not helped our cause, but we’ll have two or three of them back for the weekend and hopefully have a couple of new faces which will rejuvenate us.
“This is a close-knit club and with everyone pulling in the same direction, we’ll get to where we want to be. A victory on Saturday would put us back in the top ten, so that’s not a bad start.
“We know that we have to be better; we’re going through our tough patch early in the season and the only way we will come through it is by everyone sticking together.”
