Match Report

THE PICS chalked up a 3-0 victory at Wolverhampton Sporting Community in our latest pre-season friendly fixture.
It took us just seven minutes to take the lead against last season’s West Midlands (Regional) League Premier Division Champions when Lewis Archer did well to set up Danny Waldron who made no mistake.
We found ourselves in control for long periods during the first half albeit against stubborn opponents who restricted our chances.
That said, we almost added to our lead before the break when a Gaz Singh corner picked out Joe Hull who saw his effort clawed away by the home ‘keeper.
It didn’t take Hull long to get his name on the scoresheet after the restart as he touched home a Simeon Maye free-kick.
There were plenty of substitutions as the second half went on and it wasn’t until late on that we completed the scoring when Maye linked up well with former Wolverhampton Sporting Community man, Kyle Delaney, who in turn played through Waldron and he made no mistake to make it 3-0.
It proved to be another good work-out for us and another winning result.
