Match Report

The Pics welcomed top of the table AFC Wulfrunians to Dales Lane, for a game that could possibly end Rushall's hopes of the title.

The home side really came out of the blocks, looking dangerous going forward and dealing with any threats from the league leaders. This was to be the pattern for the whole game.

The deadlock was broken on 20 minutes by Jack Squire, followed by a lovely brace from Jack Dunn. Rushall were in command, holding a 3 goal advantage at HT.

The same effort and commitment followed in the second half. The home side were able to make changes to refresh, keeping the levels up, making sure that Wulfrunians didn't start to find the answers, as we know they can do.

Still pressing, Rushall found a fourth and fifth goal, courtesy of wonderful team build up play, finished via Adam Toddington and Ollie Mardenborough.

The Pics now lead the Premier Division, on a healthy goal difference. There are very important games to be played by us and others, what a great end to the season.
