ARE YOU 16-18 years old? Are you looking for your next step? Would you like a career in sport?

Working in partnership with Manor Farm Community Association with Rushall Olympic FC and Walsall Adult and Community College, we now offer a range of sports qualifications and the opportunity to play semi-professional football with the most senior club in Walsall - a truly unique and structured experience!

Qualifications available are:
Level 2 in Sport (BTEC)
Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma
Progressing to Extended Diploma In Sport

Already completed Year 1 course? Complete Year 2 with us!

You will have opportunity to complete additional qualifications alongside Coaching, Nutrition, Gym Instruction and Employability.

We will have an Open Evening at Manor Farm Community Centre, King George Crescent, Rushall, Walsall WS4 1EU on Monday, November 28th, starting at 6.00pm.

OUR AIMS
- Rushall Olympic Football Club are creating the football and education scholarship programme to give an opportunity to young male footballers (aged 16-19), to pursue a career in football through the non-League route whilst also gaining academic qualifications to support players in progressing in to higher education or gaining employment within the sports industry.

- To support the development and transition of young footballers into open-age non-League football.

- To support players striving for academic excellence and gaining places within higher education at universities of their choice.

- To support players looking for further opportunities within the football industry throughout the UK, Europe and Worldwide.

HOW IT ALL WORKS...
All players gaining a place on the programme will follow a timetable that mirrors a professional clubs’ academy and their scholars experience.

Players will train on a daily basis - Monday to Friday (PM) – with matches being played in the National Conference League on a Wednesday afternoon. All players will be required to attend academic lessons, 9.30am start at Manor Farm Community Centre, King George Crescent, Rushall, Walsall WS4 1EU.

All players who have not achieved a GCSE C in Maths & English will be required to attend functional skills / GCSE re-sits at Manor Farm Community Centre.
