MARLON WALTERS

An aggressive and combative central midfield enforcer who arrived at Dales Lane in January 2016 from Bedworth United. He began his career with Wolverhampton Wanderers, where he climbed through the ranks and went on to captain the Reserve Team at Molineux. Upon his eventual release he linked up with Hednesford Town in October 2004, culminating in him becoming a member of the Pitmen’s successful 2004-05 Southern League Premier Division play-off final team that gained promotion to Conference North. However, he began the following season at Bromsgrove Rovers but dropped out after a brief spell and eventually rejoined The Pitmen in July 2006 after impressing during pre-season training. His second spell with Hednesford ended with his release in October 2006, after which he linked up with Willenhall Town. Spells then followed with the likes of Bromsgrove Rovers and Chasetown during the 2007-08 campaign, before moving on to Cradley Town in January 2009. In March 2010 he signed for Highgate United, but during summer 2010 he later agreed terms with Redditch United. In January 2011 he eventually linked up with Halesowen Town, where he remained until August 2011, when he moved on to Evesham United. During summer 2013 he joined Hinckley United, but following the sad demise of the Leicestershire outfit in October 2013 he eventually moved on to Bedworth United.
