AARON FORDE

Talented and versatile central midfielder who transferred to Dales Lane during summer to begin a second spell with the Pics after spending the 2015-16 campaign with Evo-Stik League Premier Division neighbours Sutton Coldfield Town. He originally signed for the club during summer 2012 after arriving from Redditch United and is a strong player with plenty of drive who has the ability to get in behind opposition defences to score crucial goals from midfield. He began his career with Wolverhampton Wanderers – with the highlight being a goal scoring appearance in the Milk Cup junior tournament final defeat in Coleraine, Northern Ireland during summer 2008 against Everton. After later becoming an Academy player with Walsall he eventually went on to captain the Youth Team at the Banks’s Stadium. During the 2008-09 campaign he sustained a leg break, but overcame the long-term injury to get back into full fitness and in September 2010 he was handed a place on the substitutes' bench for the visit of Colchester United after being given the number 24 shirt. After also establishing himself in the Walsall second string, he was eventually released during summer 2011 and linked up with Hinckley United in September 2011, but remained their only briefly before moving on to Romulus. In November 2011 he signed for Stourport Swifts, prior to transferring to their Worcestershire neighbours Redditch United a month later and remained their until the end of the campaign. During summer 2012 he left Rushall for Stratford Town and was a key member of the side who won the 2012-13 Midland Football Alliance championship and gained promotion to the Southern League Division One South & West. However, for the 2013-14 campaign he moved on to Bedworth United and later transferred to Halesowen Town in January 2014, before ultimately linking up with Sutton during summer 2015.
