Rushall were on top the first quarter playing well and passing the ball well throughout. Burton however, defended well to keep the young Pics at bay.
A clumsy challenge from the Sills bought down a busy Alex Howell and rightfully awarding him a penalty. Unfortunately Rushall couldn't take the advantage shaving the woodwork. First quarter finishing 0-0.
Rushall had all guns blazing in the second quarter as six goals flew in. The first coming from a thumping shot from George Overton, who found the net from 30 yards, The second coming from Lucas Fallon as he was awarded a penalty kick and dutifully tucked it away. A free kick bought the third as Sam Pearse flicked the ball onto target. An individual effort from Ethan Rushton claimed our fourth. A ball driven across the box by Lucas found Joel Chapman at the back post for a tap in to make it 5-0 and then Lucas netted his brace to complete the six-goal thrilling quarter.
Rushall were still pressing in the third quarter as Burton looked to regroup. A strike from Sam Pearse was kept out by a great save from George Stanson. Alex Howell gifted George Overton his brace with a tidy finish to take the Pics' tally to seven. Cameron East punished the Burton lads netting another for Rushall moments later. Another tidy quarter for Rushall.
As Rushall made a few changes for the final quarter, the game petered out.
