Match Report

First game back for the young Pics and fair play to Aston getting the tie on after a dumping of snow and rain

1st quarter Rushall had the better chances however, Solihull's No9 Jason Thompon looked sharp on the break playing on the defenders shoulders.

Jason had the first clear cut chance finding himself one on one with Rushalls Brad Price shooting wide of the post.

Rushall on the front foot and the first coming from a cheeky back heal from Brad Mansell gifting Rushall the lead into the break.

2nd quarter and an early chance for Solihull as they threatened to equalise. Rushall dominating with a threaded ball from Joel Chapman found the head of George Overton for the Pics second. Soon after Lucas Fallon assisting Brad Mansell to net Rushall's third and Brads brace. Joel Chapman finding himself another for the Pics as George Overtons effort slammed the underside of the bar leaving Joel to tidy up. Great quarter for Rushall finishing 4-0.

Third quarter Solihull still battling but an early goal from Lucas Fallon took the Pics tally to 5...Soon after 25 yard out Alex Howell with a great hit sent the tally to 6 in this quarter.

The fourth quarter ... injuries to Lucas Fallon and Alex Howell with a knee injury and trust Alex is OK after being carried off and sent to hospital. The tempo of the tie slow and a little untidy. A yellow shown to George Overton from Rushall. Solihull taking advantage and a goal from Jason Thomson found their one of the match. An unfortunate own goal from the No12 finished the tie.
